The actress chose a traditional floor-length gown and veil with a surprising twist.
The first pictures of Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress have been released, confirming that the actress chose a traditional white gown when she married Brad Pitt.
Designed by Donatella Versace, the custom-made, silk satin dress featured a gathered bust, elongated train and spaghetti straps. Her children were also involved in the creation of her veil, drawing pictures that were embroidered on it by Atelier Versace master tailor Luigi Massi.
Speaking to the People Magazine, the actress said, ”Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress. He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.”
The bridegroom added, ”It was such a special day to she with our children and very happy time for our family.”
